The director of the US Marines 250 Anniversary commercial was seeking a refresh of the script for the release of her director’s cut. The treatment called for a poetic, emotional telling of the Marines organization’s story at the approach of the military’s 250th anniversary. While visuals focused on the beauty of America’s everyday, the story sought inspirational, hopeful, and powerful words to place service, sacrifice, and the promise of the Marines in sharp perspective.
